Finding an ideal design for your bedroom is not easy to do due to the limited space. The creativity of the people is challenged. You have much stuff to fill inside the bedroom, but the space is very tight. You cannot escape from the clutter and mess due to the many furniture pieces, clothes, books and other knickknacks. You always feel bad when accessing the bedroom since this space seems to trap you. Actually, you can trick the small room and make it look bigger and cozier than ever.
Focus On Simplicity
Simplicity is the first thing to notice when decorating a very small bedroom design. This character should be spotted on the flooring, bedding set, and window decoration. Avoid using the curtain, which has busy prints. Keep the windows in simple state with a white sheer curtain. If you want to control privacy and sunlight, a stylish roman blind is great.
Do Not Clutter
The items and knickknacks that you do not use anymore should be eliminated from the small bedroom plan. The old magazines, kid’s toys, broken furniture, old bills and scraps of papers should be removed for they contribute to the mess in the bedroom.
Select Good Lighting
The good lighting also plays an important part to create larger impression in the bedroom. Use the natural light in the morning by partially opening the windows. If you need accent lighting, install the wall mounted wall sconces. Do not put any floor lamp for it will consume the floor space.
Get The Compact Furniture
If you are in the furniture stores in town, there are many choices of compact furniture ideas. You can get a bunk bed with multi level sliding doors. This piece looks great inside a kid’s bedroom. A modern bunk bed is the proper option for the decorating a bedroom occupied by two kids. The bed with storage option underneath is more preferable today.
Paint The Wall In Bright Color
A white wall color is too common for a small bedroom. Choose the bright tone like soft purple, lilac, pink, beige, fresh green and blue for bedroom wall. The colors infuse different aura.
